Occurred on April 6, 2021. After questioning Soeung Phirak and examining the video and documentary evidence, it was revealed that he acted in self-defense, so a spokesman for the Phnom Penh Municipal Court has now issued an official statement on the release of the police officer. Phoeun Phirak has been released.
