On the afternoon of March 31, 2021, the Ministry of Health issued a statement on the death of a 28-year-old patient from Covid-19, the 13th case and the youngest case among All 13 victims.
The statement from the Ministry of Health continued that the 28-year-old patient living in Boeung Salang Village, Sangkat Russey Keo, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, was found positive on March 30, 2021 yesterday because he has a chronic illness. Physical conditions such as type 1 diabetes and severe end-stage renal failure can cause him to fall into a serious condition. Despite care and rescue efforts, the patient died on March 31, 2021 at 2:40 p.m. Doctors concluded that the 28-year-old woman had died of Covid-19, with the patient suffering from severe respiratory distress and pneumonia from the Covid-19 virus.
