During the interrogation phase, the judge summoned his ex-wife, Hok Srey Nouch, for questioning, but she failed to comply with the summons, and the judge issued an arrest warrant for her. The recent arrest of her sister on November 13, 2020, has drawn public criticism of the court, accusing her of being biased against her step-wife.
