Texas: A Texas man has been jailed for 30 days for licking ice cream and putting it in a refrigerator at a Walmart mall.
The video of D'Adrien Anderson, 24, was shared on social media and received a lot of views, leading to a leak to the store management. Security cameras in the store showed him licking the ice cream and putting it back in the cupboard.
He was also suspended for six months, fined $ 1,000 ( 770p) and ordered to pay $ 1,565 to the ice cream company. The incident took place at the port of Attou, about 90 miles (145 km) east of Houston.
ABC reports that Anderson and his father returned to the store to show receipts that he had bought spoiled ice cream, so the blueberry maker changed all the ice cream in the cupboard as a precaution. And they lost $ 1,565. Anderson pleaded guilty earlier this year to misdemeanors.
