On Monday, April 12, the Thai government reported 985 new cases of Covid-19 infection, the highest number of daily cases ever since the outbreak began.
There were two cases of importation: two Thais, one Russian, one Serbian and one Swedish.
Of the new cases, 634 were related to high-risk areas, while 346 were detected through active testing.
At the same time, 34 patients recovered.
As of Monday, April 12, the number of Covid-19 cases in Thailand had risen to 33,610 cases. A total of 28,248 people were recovered and the death toll remained at 97.
