Outbreak of 19 new Covid viruses has forced the Philippines to close all flights out of the UK

 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has decided to ban all flights from the United Kingdom as the European country is battling 19 new strains of the virus, a spokesman said on Wednesday.

In a statement, Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said all flights from the UK to the Philippines would be suspended from December 24 until December 1. December 31

All passengers traveling to the UK during the last 14 days prior to arrival in the Philippines, including transit passengers, are temporarily barred from entering the country. Duration as set above.
