Phnom Penh: A person named Ny Nak, the owner of "Iman KH" who used to post provocative and rioting information on Facebook, was arrested by the police and sent to court on the afternoon of December 11, 2020.
The arrest of Ny Nak follows an arrest warrant issued by Phnom Penh Municipal Court Deputy Prosecutor Plong Sophal by the Anti-Technology Crime Department of the Ministry of Interior.
An official from the Anti-Technology Crime Department confirmed that the man had been arrested following a complaint by the Ministry of Agriculture regarding criticism and posting false information, leading to social unrest.
This is not the first time police have arrested Nina, the owner of Iman KH. The reason why the police force arrested this person is because of posting provocative and insulting messages to the Royal Government with the intention of causing unrest on social media.
