Tuan Fa Chinese School Accused of Taking Public Roads


 Toun Fa Chinese Language School has been sued by residents of Village 3, Sangkat Olympic, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, to the Phnom Penh District Hall and the Ministry of Interior, alleging that the Chinese Language School has encroached on public roads to build its own parking lot and built road gates. Makes it very difficult for people to travel in and out of their homes.

Heang Srey Neang, 41, a resident of the area, described that she had lived here since 1979, with the road in front of her house being a dead end. In 2019, the Tuan Fa Chinese Language School asked to build a gate on the public road, but the people refused to do so because they were afraid that the school would take ownership. On April 7, 2020, Toun Fa School built a gate on a public road with the permission of Mr. Theam Sam An, the Governor of Boeung Keng Kang District, without any notice to the people.

Ms. Heang Srey Neang continued that at that time, the people were very upset and dissatisfied, so they went to file several objections, and on September 9, 2019, they complained to the Boeung Keng Kang District Court. March 19, 2020 Complaint to Phnom Penh City Hall. On April 23, 2020, a complaint was lodged with the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Interior issued an intervention letter on June 1, 2020 to Phnom Penh Capital Hall to examine and resolve this case, but remained silent like a horse thief.
