Police forces of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police at more than 1 am on August 26, 2020, raided a karaoke location along Street 206 at right angles to Street 209 in Sangkat Phsar Depot 1, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh. The operation was ordered by Lt. Gen. Thet, Phnom Penh Municipal Police Commissioner.
During the crackdown, the police found a large amount of drugs and detained 93 men and women (40 women) and several luxury cars. Heng, Tuol Kork District Police Inspector and with the coordination of Mr. MOT Dara, Deputy Prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court.
After the operation, both exhibits and people were sent to the Phnom Penh Police for legal action.
