South Korea warns citizens not to travel to Thailand due to the virusidid-19

The South Korean government has advised its nationals to avoid traveling to Thailand and other Asian countries, including Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Vietnam. This is because the government is worried about the citizens of the Covid-19 virus infection.
The deputy chief of the disaster Kim Gang-lip told a news conference that the measures are part of efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The Yonhap report said the South Korean government's warning came after the World Health Organization said on Sunday that there are six countries in Asia that may have a high incidence of Covid-19.
A Taiwanese spokeswoman said Taiwan respects the South Korean government's efforts to combat the Covid-19 virus, but South Korea's information that Taiwan has spread the virus in Taiwan is incorrect. Through the rejection, a Taiwanese spokesman urged the South Korean government to correct its information.
Taiwan now has 18 confirmed cases of Covid-19 virus, and no deaths since the outbreak. Taiwan has since asked Seoul to correct information reported by the government-funded press agency. Taiwan is one of the possible sites where Covid-19 virus is spreading in the community, Yonhap News Agency said.
On January 19, 2020, a Korean tourist was infected with Covid-19 while traveling to Thailand. This concerns the South Korean government for its health and warns citizens not to travel to some Asian countries, especially Thailand.
