KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - A respectable teacher has sacrificed almost all of his income for his compassion for homeless animals and shelter in his area.
Roslee Abbas is a very kind and pet friendly professor. He rescued many mentally ill animals for shelter, food, and treatment when they were sick. Although he is a devout Muslim, he is also exposed to banned species such as dogs and pigs.
At the same time, he founded an organization called HEART: Helping Rescue Team that aims to help victims. The organization is based in his own home and his team works six days a week from 6:30 pm.
About 80% of his teaching work is spent on food for cats and dogs as well as medication.
