His Excellency Khuong Sreng made this statement during a meeting on the promotion of Covid-19 vaccination to the people in Phnom Penh by video on the evening of November 2, 2021, by the Governor Phnom Penh has ordered all 14 district authorities and all armed forces to strictly enforce measures to ban the opening of karaoke and entertainment clubs in Phnom Penh.
HE Khuong Sreng explained that the Royal Government has reopened the country in all fields, but the entertainment club and karaoke is not yet allowed to open, that is, only restaurants and beer gardens. Therefore, the 14 district authorities and the relevant forces must take the strictest action against the theft of clubs and karaoke, as these businesses have the highest risk of spreading Covid-19 disease.
HE Khuong Sreng stated that the Head of the Royal Government appreciated and thanked the authorities, the Armed Forces, the Armed Forces, the doctors and all the doctors who worked hard to prevent the spread of Covid. In the past, therefore, as the Governor of Phnom Penh, he did not want to see an outbreak of Covid-19 infection again.
