A single dose of Covid 19 vaccine does not guarantee survival if infected, with 14% of deaths receiving their first dose, according to the Thai Infectious Diseases Control Agency.
The Department of Infectious Diseases monitors immunization records for 13,637 deaths across Thailand and found that 1,967, or 14.4 percent, had already been vaccinated for the first time. .
The survey found that 107 out of two people who received two doses, or just 0.8 percent of the total, died, while 8,803, or 64.6 percent, were not vaccinated. .
The department said 2,760 deaths, or 20.2 percent, could not be classified in any group due to a lack of vaccination records in the Mor Prom database or due to conflicting information. .
The department did not release figures for the various vaccines being used.
