The Ministry of Health confirmed that four other patients had died from Covid 19. The new death toll brings the total death toll to 114.
Cambodia has recently seen an alarming increase in the number of Covid cases as the death toll continues to rise since the February 20 outbreak.
The head of the Cambodian government has called the current situation a "waterfall of death" in which all citizens must join in the fight against this shadowless virus.
It should be noted that Cambodia today announced the discovery of 650 new Covid 19 infected, 739 cured and 4 dead. As of the morning of May 6, 2021, there were a total of 17,621 cases, 6,843 cases were cured and 114 deaths.
