Phnom Penh: On the morning of December 13, 2020, the Ministry of Health issued a press release confirming two new Covid 19 positive cases, which are import cases, not infectious cases in the community. The positive Covid 19 virus includes: 1. A 47-year-old Jordanian man staying at a hotel in Phnom Penh as a passenger from Jordan resumed a flight from South Korea to Cambodia on December 10. In 2020, the test results of the man's test, given by the National Institutes of Public Health of the Ministry of Health, were positive for Covid 19 virus, and the patient is now being treated at the National Center for Tuberculosis and Hepatitis.
Please note that the total number of passengers on the plane with the above patients was 77, including the above men. A total of 76 passengers with negative Covid 19 test results were screened for 14 days at a hotel in Phnom Penh (31) and another (45).
2: A 32-year-old Cambodian man, staying at a hotel in Phnom Penh, who was traveling from Mali, resumed a flight from South Korea to Cambodia on December 11, 2020. The above person, provided by the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge in Phnom Penh, is positive for Covid 19 virus and is currently being treated at the National Center for Tuberculosis and Hansen.
Please note: There are a total of 63 air passengers with the above patients, including this person. Sixty-two passengers with negative Covid 19 test results were screened for 14 days at 31 hotels, one hotel and 30 hotels in Phnom Penh.
Affected samples tested in the third "Community Event 28 November" on 12 December 2020, a total of 8,814 samples, plus the remaining 68 samples from 11 December 2020 A total of 8,882 specimens, of which 3,002 were analyzed by the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge on 12 December 2020, were all negative for Covid 19 virus.
