A tourist must pay more than 120,000 dollars to see the Titanic, which sank since 1912

 


        A trip to see the Titanic, which sank a long time ago at a depth of 3,800 meters (12,467 feet) under the ocean, is finally open to the public. The tour is organized by OceanGate. But to get there, you have to pay 96,000, or about $ 125,000, and it takes about 10 days if you want to get on that submarine.

Tourists can take part in deep sea research missions, along with experts and researchers.

So far, however, only a few hundred people have visited the wreckage, including director James Cameron, who visited when he directed the 1997 film Focus. On the voyage of this sinking ship, and more people reached the summit of Mount Everest than saw the Titanic.

The organizers claim that the number of tickets for the participants is very small. This means that anyone wishing to participate must first go through the application process, including interviews with the team. The upcoming 2021 tourism mission will take place between May and July. The tour was organized 10 times. And some missions are scheduled for 2022.

The Titanic, which was carrying oil, sank back in 1912 after falling into ice during a voyage between Southampton and New York.
