PM's sister warns prosecutors if they dare release her ninth

 The  sister of the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Ms. Hun Sinath, has warned the prosecutor and the authorities that anyone who dares to release a woman suspected of committing the crime of producing fake palm sugar has been arrested and released eight times, so in the ninth arrest. If she dares to release the woman to make fake palm sugar again, she will go to the release.

On August 17, 2020, Ms. Hun Sinath posted a picture of the suspect woman, the owner of the fake palm sugar factory, who was detained by the authorities, on her Facebook account and Facebook page with the caption: After helping to monitor the arrest of the boss named Chuon Mom, who produces fake palm sugar, which affects the health of the people, he was detained for a few days, if he dares to stop Chuon Mom again, I will go to the prosecutor and the authorities because Fake Brown arrested this boss 8 times, but never prosecuted. Wait and see, what does the court think about stopping production? Please, Facebook friends, help monitor the court. ”

However, according to the information, after the arrest of the suspect, 49-year-old Chuon Mom, the owner of the fake palm sugar production site, the police brought the suspect to be interrogated to build a case to send. The court acted in accordance with the law without releasing them like in the previous eight arrests.

During the ninth crackdown, the police found exhibits at the above-mentioned counterfeit palm sugar production site, including: 12 containers of counterfeit palm sugar, equal to 348 kg, 3 sacks of white sugar equal to 150 kg, and a half barrel of cooking oil. Equivalent to 7.5 liters, 1 sugar stirrer, 3 large sugar pans.

These exhibits were confiscated and stored at the Kandal Provincial Police for further processing.
