Cambodian Friendship Association Needs Solutions to Help Mr Khieu Kanharith to Adjust Video Clip to Impact National


The General Secretariat of the National Police Association of Cambodia asks the Minister of Information to take action against TV stations and artists wearing police uniforms By national police. However, according to a letter from the CNP, signed by General Pen Vibol to His Excellency Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information to take action to improve TV stations as well as performing artists. Comic videos use inappropriate police uniforms based on standards and bad official brand badges that affect the prestige and dignity of national police.

In the letter, the letter states: “For some time, especially in the situation where the Ministry of Interior has been campaigning to enforce traffic law, the CNP has seen and observed the TV station as well. Some artists made short video clips, with some of them playing the role of a national police officer who was dressed in the wrong uniform and inadequate, the standard mark on the national police uniform and logo "The police officers have long hair and use words that are not appropriate to the ethics of the police officers." The National Police Association has said that through video activities, the external environment is widely shared among social networks, which the CNP has found to be extremely harmful. Good for the prestige and dignity of the national police forces who have been working hard to fulfill their duties of maintaining security, order, safety and social security for the nation and its people. At the same time, the National Police Association of Cambodia would like to request the Minister of Information to review and facilitate measures to improve TV stations as well as artists with deficiencies.
