Another 11,784 infected with Covid-19 and 80 dead in Tuesday report

 

BANGKOK: Health authorities in Thailand have just reported a total of 11,305 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the past 24 hours, while another 80 have died. This is according to the release by Thai newspaper The Nation on Tuesday afternoon, July 20, 2021.

The figure is a high daily COVID-19 infection rate and has jumped to tens of thousands of cases for seven consecutive days, bringing the total number of cases to 426,475. A total of 3,502 people were killed and nearly 296,208 were recovered. For the COVID-19 vaccine, Thailand received 14.2 million doses, of which 3.44 million people (4.9% of the total population) received all doses as of Monday.

In some provinces in Thailand besides Bangkok, such as Chonburi, Ayutthaya and Chachoengsao, most restrictions are being implemented, including the closure of supermarkets from 9:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Low minutes, bright, and so on. A ban on rallies has been imposed across the country, and violators will be fined 40,000 baht, or more than 1,200 US dollars.
