Kampong Cham Provincial Administration has issued a decision to suspend the construction of four buildings of Valong (Cambodia) Footwear Industry Co., Ltd. in Chheu Teal village, Pdao Chum commune, Cheung Prey district for 22 days from May 22 to 24. 2021 to prevent Covid 19.
It should be noted that on the morning of May 22, 2021, the Kampong Cham Provincial Administration issued a proclamation announcing the discovery of 84 positive Kovid-19 people, most of them factory workers in Cheung Prey district on May 21, 2021.
Kampong Cham Provincial Administration confirmed that 25 people were newly infected with Covid in Kampong Siem district, 16 in Prey Chhor district, 29 in Cheung Prey district, 3 in Batheay district, 4 in Chamkar Leu district, 1 in Stung Trang district and 1 in Koh Sotin district. 1 person, Kang Meas district 01 person, Kampong Cham city 03 people and 1 person from Preah Vihear province.
