Why Chinese kings forbid building palaces

The Forbidden City was built during the reign of King Kublai Khan to serve as his own place of recreation by his personal entourage, Long Zhou, between 1406 and 1420, covering an area of about 720,000 square meters. It is rectangular in shape, surrounded by a park and a strong inner and outer wall.

This palace has a special door called (Gate of Heaven), but to get there we have to go through a large rectangular square, which is also a training ground for soldiers. There are stair trenches and a marble bridge leading to the palace, with a large gate called the "Central Gate". After that, there is a courtyard in front of the courtyard to cross the Golden River, which is the entrance to the inner court, and then a large inner palace for the king to come out to inspect his affairs.

Outside the Forbidden City, on the south side, is a rectangular shrine dedicated to the deity, separated by a wall, as well as major pagodas, such as Wat Thansur Khavas, with a magnificent three-story tower about 27 to 43 stories The meter is also considered a place of religious celebration.
