South America is the fourth most infected region in the world, with a total of more than 10.2 million cases, more than 308,000 deaths and more than 9.2 million cases. Countries with high rates of infection in the region include Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Chile.

Africa is the world's fifth most infected region, with a total of more than 1.9 million cases, more than 46,000 deaths and more than 1.6 million cases. Countries with high rates of infection in the region include South Africa, Morocco and Egypt.

Armenia is the least infected region in the world, with a total of more than 42,000 cases, 994 deaths and more than 32,000 cases.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) first broke out in Wuhan, Hubei Province, central China in December 2019. . So far, the virus is spreading around the world, with 218 countries and territories transmitting the virus.
