Before flying, an airline requires passengers to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

International airlines say that in the future, air passengers need to prove that they have been vaccinated against Kovid-19 to board Qantas flights. Carrier boss Alan Joyce said the change would be necessary once the vaccine was released.

Australia has closed its international borders since the first outbreak of the epidemic and has forced passengers to take precautionary measures. The country has recently relied on closure, expansion, testing and close monitoring of communications to push daily infections across the country to near zero.

In an interview on Monday, Joyce said Qantas was reviewing its changes to international travel conditions as the industry was hit hard by travel restrictions. He told reporters that passengers were asked to be vaccinated before boarding the plane for international travelers entering and leaving the country.
