US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania tested positive for Covid 19 after senior aide Hope Hicks was also diagnosed. Trump reportedly spent a lot of time with Hicks this week.
Hope Hicks traveled with Trump on an Air Force One to the Minnesota election campaign this week.
The positive test came a month before the US presidential election.
In a Twitter post, Trump wrote, "Melania and I tested positive for Covid 19. We will begin the process of catalyzing and healing immediately. "We will go through this together."
What worries them is that 74-year-old Trump is in a high-risk group for serious complications from the coronavirus.
To date, the coronavirus has killed more than 205,000 people across the United States.
