Thailand finds second coronary heart disease infected but still thinks it was foreign


 Thai health authorities on Friday (September 11, 2020) confirmed another COVID-19 infection found in the country by an Uzbek professional football player just eight days after the outbreak. Community case for the first time in more than 3 months. The man was diagnosed with the disease after a pre-match test on Tuesday, despite undergoing isolation and three negative tests, health officials told a news conference.

The footballer arrived in Thailand on August 13, but Thai health officials believe the incubation period was more than 14 days and he contracted the disease at Abroad, not in Thailand. Thailand recently found a COVID-19 patient in the community who is a DJ with no history of going abroad or knowing where he came from. Hundreds of people associated with the DJ were segregated.

The 43 people who came in contact with the Uzbekistan player also tested for COVID-19, but were negative and are being isolated.
