An American couple visiting Angkor, dressed in traditional Khmer attire with a public declaration that they love Cambodia and consider Cambodia their home forever.
The American couple who declared Cambodia as their home are Uriah Lyford, 30, and Naomi Lyford, 30, currently living in Poipet, Banteay Meanchey province.
The American couple got married on February 23, 2019, now have a daughter and are pregnant with another child. Loving the land and the people of Cambodia, they continue to stay in Cambodia until they consider Cambodia as their home forever.
Naomi Lyford, who also speaks Khmer, posted a picture of himself with his wife and children wearing beautiful traditional Khmer costumes when visiting Angkor, Siem Reap, on a day when Cambodians took a day off to pay their respects. Khmer Traditional Year on its Facebook account on August 17, 2020 with the caption: “Today is the first day of our Khmer New Year repayment that we lost due to the Covid-19 family of "We want to show great love for this country that allows us to be a part of society for a long time and we will always consider Cambodia as our home."
The wife, Naomi Lyford, also shared a picture and content of the husband on her Facebook account the same day, with the caption, "We love that Cambodia is our home." .
The image and content of the above American couple has attracted the attention of Cambodians all over the country with the national pride that they were born as Cambodians living in Cambodia, a love that even the above Americans love the land and the people. Cambodia, as well as declaring that Cambodia is their home forever.
