Thailand sees seven new cases of coronavirus today, bringing the total to 32 in the country

The Thai Ministry of Health reported seven new cases of coronavirus infection on Saturday, including three Thais and four Chinese.

The new case brings the total number of reported cases in the country to 32 among the highest in the world, apart from China.

"The seven new cases are in the hospital," said Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoenchai, director-general of the department of disease control.

Suwannachai told reporters that one of the Thai cases was part of a group of 138 people who were evacuated from the Corona virus in China's Wuhan city on Tuesday.
Two other Thais have hit tourists, he said.

Suwannachai said that of the four Chinese nationals, three were family members who had reported the case before, while another was a tourist from a dangerous area in China.

Of the 32 cases reported so far, 23 were Chinese and nine were Thai.

Suwannachai said that as of Saturday, another patient had been allowed to return home, bringing the total number to 10.

Another 22 patients were hospitalized, he said.
