A 13-year-old boy has died after being shot by another boy with a modified gun while playing together in a two-story house in Nong Kung Si district, northeast Kalasin province. Sunday, February 9th. According to local authorities.
The incident began when a 12-year-old boy entered his father's room and came out with a handgun. The kid showed it to his friends who were playing mobile games and pulled the trigger. But nothing happened right away, probably from guns, bullets or air. He took his gun away from home and returned. The boy then tried to play a gun with the victim and pulled the trigger again. Moments later, six bullets fired at 13-year-old Rathaphum Kaewmat in the head.
The child was rushed to Nong Kung Si District Hospital, but unfortunately Rathaphum died of severe injuries.
No arrests have yet been made against the 12-year-old who used the gun, police said, adding that police are still investigating the incident. Additional witnesses and evidence at the scene
