China: A chimpanzee at a zoo surprised his caretaker when he found him washing his shirt. The smart monkey was named Yuhui, and the zoo's keeper was filmed in a video while washing clothes with a brush and soap. The action was spotted last Friday at Lehe Ledu Theme Park in Chongqing, southwest China.
Yu, who oversees the monkey, told ECNS that Yuhui (the monkey) watched as she washed clothes there, so she decided to leave her shirt and shampoo, as well as a napkin, in the area. That's to wait and see what it wants to do.
"I never intended to teach it, but it never ceased to be an activity, so I wondered if it would be on my own," he said.
The video, which was distributed over the internet, will show the action by shampooing and brushing the shirt.
He told the Daily Mail that Yuhui is a monkey who is naturally curious and very good at imitating human activities.
